Hi! I’m Sabrina—welcome to my little piece of the world.

I’ve loved thrillers, mysteries, suspense, and true crime as long as I can remember. These dark and gritty stories fascinate me—the who, what, why of it all. Every crime has a story and I want to know them all.

I want to read them, write them, and help other people write them. I want to talk about them with the same giddiness I’ve had since the first time I read Sidney Sheldon late into the night. (Hilariously, I wrote an 8th grade book report on one of his books. I’m sure my small town teachers were scandalized.) That’s why I host Thrillers by the Bookclub Podcast and Slaying the Craft. I’m a fan first.

It wasn’t until Jan 2022 that I decided to give writing a try. I’ve been on an unstoppable bullet train ever since. I’ve taken classes and workshops. I’ve queried. I’ve pitched to agents and been rejected kindly…and not so kindly. I’m a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, and International Thriller Writers. ThrillerFest has become my annual vacation.

My professional career has taken me from non-profit fundraising to corporate project management to corporate learning. I knew I needed a change and felt a passion calling. Now, I’ve taken that experience and combined it with my love of thrillers to become a (soon-to-be certified 8/2025) book coach.

I am currently writing my second novel (and hopefully debut!) about a woman who must embrace her family’s criminal past in order to find her niece’s killer before they find her—for fans of Karin Slaughter and Sons of Anarchy.

When I’m not thinking about crime I love to travel, spend time with my hilarious husband, and snuggle my sweet dog Ellie. It is my greatest joy to hold my mother’s hand as she lives with Early Onset Alzheimer’s.
